CONTEST HAS BEEN EXTENDED!
New deadline: September 27th! THIS IS YOUR LAST DAY, hope you've submitted three entries!
CONTEST TIME!!
----->ENTRIES<-----
It has arrived! My first ever stock contest hosted by me and my stock sisters-
The theme is "Sugar and Spice"
Description- The rhyme goes like this:
What are little boys made of, made of?
What are little boys made of?
"Snaps and snails, and puppy-dog's tails;
And that's what little boys are made of."
What are little girls made of, made of?
What are little girls made of?
"Sugar and spice, and all that's nice;
And that's what little girls are made of."
We want to know your thoughts on this nursery rhyme. Is it accurate? Does it need a little updating? This could be taken as how you think girls are stereotypically seen today, how they do act, or just what it means to be a woman. Personally, all I want to see is a little femininity in your piece. That and me and my stock sisters.
Rules:
This must be a new deviation for this contest, and you must write that it is for the contest in your description of the piece.
You must use female stock from at least two of the stock sister's galleries. You may use other stock as well, just as long as you use ours.
You are limited to three entries.
You must credit us (like always) in your work.
To submit you need to send *PhoeebStock a note with "contest entry" as the subject, a link to your deviation and which stock you used in it. I need to be able to see that you have used two stock sisters in there.
The comp is open to any form of art that you would use stock for. Photomanipulations, vector art, traditional art, ect.
The deadline is one month from now (September 27th) and winners will be announced that weekend.
Prizes
1st Place:
2nd Place:
3rd Place:
So Good Luck! If your idea needs a pose/look that we do not already have in our galleries, feel free to request one of us. But be sure to look through our galleries though, because we do have a huge array of stock.
*Prizes will definitely be added as time goes by.
*Donations for prizes would be received with a huge glomp.
Note me or *PhoeebStock if you'd like to donate anything!
Donations can be anything from journal features, to prints, to subs, to mugs, to jewelery, to commisions, to candy-anything! Whatever it is you specialize in, feel free to offer your services

Horribly intrusive watermarks are tacky. If you're concerned about people stealing your photos, don't post them on the internet.
Photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event. (HCB)

This one might actually take some good indoor ones though, the other one always made my hair too dark or the flash was too much. But if they're indoor shots, not only will I refrain from drenching my outfit/face in sweat, I can download them faster
Hmm...it takes a CompactFlash card...it's like an inch in both directions, HUUUGE. I tried sticking my SD in the memory card slot, but it's not made for smaller memory cards
