I haven't had much inspiration lately. That mixed with absolute zero memory on my computer, equals not much new from me.
Well one of my best friends read me a poem tonight, and wanted me to make him a picture to go along with it. Between what I had in mind, and what he had in mind, this is what ended up coming out. He wanted a nun in there, but I couldn't really make it work...felt like it crowded the picture too much?
Anyway, this is the FIRST piece done with my new tablet! It's taking some getting used to, and I randomly switch back to the mouse without noticing, but it's still niiiice.
stock is actually mostly mine this time round. I had to hop up & take some pictures with my spiffy new camera of the roses

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.

It's only after you've lost everything, that you're free to do anything...

Horribly intrusive watermarks are tacky. If you're concerned about people stealing your photos, don't post them on the internet.
Photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event. (HCB)
